Trying to upload some pics but yet again foiled by the bloody machines of this world. Sitting in the library waiting for B' to come. We have booked tickets to see Shrek2 tonight. Looking forward to that.

Just had the laziest weekend ever. Only acheivment was that we did get the week in Crete booked for May next year. Skiving from work at the moment, supposed to be out buying something but it is pissing down here so not much doing anyway. Got a very nice postcard from my mate flecky. He and his girlfriend were cycling around Mull for a week and decided to visit Iona. They found a postcard showing the exact place that we scattered the ashes of my mum and dad. I was well chuffed and just shows that people think of you when you least expect it.

By the way the new kitten (Smokey - or failed kamikaze pilot nr. 1) is doing our heads in. Seems like toes and any other wiggly things are fair game and up for headlong attack. Poor Ruth was singing for her aunt into the camera when the cat attacked the tassles on her belt. Ruth and cat and everyone else jumped about 1 metre at the subsequent screams. Sent the cd to sis anyway.

Sitting here trying to book a week in Crete for next May but the 'puter won't play. Want to see Greece in the spring when it is supposed to be completely different, although still warm.

Yeah well, back home to the real world. Not much fun but that's the way it goes. We had a fantastic time and had plenty of time to ourselves to chat and stuff. Funny how the kids take up almost all your time and energy.

How sad is this! Sitting in an internett cafe in 35c? Made the mistake of having a beer with lunch in this heat now absolutely done in. We have had a fantastic time sunning ourselves and walking miles every evening before and during sunset. Eating lots of great greek food and drinking the local wines.
Realising that we made a mistake and went the wrong way when we decided to leave Ireland for Norway. Doing the last minute gift shopping that goes with the hols.
