Counting down to leaving now. We could do without the stress of moving and have nice quiet time together but we'll make the best of it I'm sure.
We are off to see Helen and Olvar tonight for an hour or so and then it's back here for more packing. I have to final pack all of my things tonight.

B. and I sepnt a very pleasant day in town today. We shopped 'till we dropped as they say.We even watched an exhibition of Capoeira which was really fascinating. We're off into town this evening with some friends for a few beers as a final fling before i make the trip to Scotland on Thursday.

We were at the last evening of Ruth's secondary school on Monday night. She sang "To Sir With Love" to a standing ovation. She really has a fantastic talent. I hope she uses it. I had to get my hillwalking boots re-soled. Cost me £50 but it's worth it when you use them as much as i do. That's 3 pairs of soles in 10 years. Off for a trip up the mountain behind the house to try them out :-)

Really tired today for some reason. The weather has been humid today and really warm. Other than that not much happening at all. Counting down the days for the stressful move.

Starting to get jittery now. There really is too much happening around me for my liking. Had along chat with Nathan about the move and he seems to be looking forward to it. I'm a bit apprehensive about the school work and the fact that he knows no-one there. He can of course return to Norway at any time.
I managed to bugger up the other pc. I downloaded Norton and it threw a wobbler. Now the mouse doesn't work and the screen is crazy.
Ah well such is life.

All settled here. B has managed to get an apartment so it's all go.
I went to see Star Wars with Nathan yesterday. It was good but to be honest I thought the trailers for War of the Worlds and the Fantastic 4 were very exciting.

What a bloody day. I've now managed to argue with the whole house and I'm pissed off. We've been to see 2 apartments tonight. one big and one small. The problem is that B. wants to go see Shona for the summer and I really do want her to do this. Two things pop up into my mind though. What do we do with the stuff in the meantime - our friends have said they will take it. 2 What to do with the dog and cat. This is the big one and I'll try to sort it out tomorrow or in the next few days. Dog had her rabies shot on Friday and the vet found out that the dog has a tumour. What to do? Bloody hell I thought it was the end of the doom and gloom Eastender episodes!!!!

Meeting went well and they are going to help us as much as possible with just about everything. That's the positive thing about the norwegian system - they do everything to help the kids. Sets my mind a bit at ease anyway about the future and B and Ruth and all the stuff that goes with it.

Well development and even more developments. I've been offered the job in Lochgilphead and start on the 4th of July. A bit scary and a bit exciting. I made some pizza and am about to have a beer. We have a double episode of LOST tonight. Great stuff.
