I had a couple of really positive meetings on Bute today. I really like Rothesay for some reason. It's not a very exciting town but at my age who needs excitement :-). The ferry trip back to Tarbert was exciting enough as the sea was really lumpy and the car got a wash or two during the crossing.
Anyway, seems like I have secured us some more dosh. I'm beginning to get a bit jittery about the prospect of being interviewed. I was quite happy in limbo but now I've got to go into the real world.
I bought Nathan some tablet today and I've just realised it's the first time he has ever tasted it. I had one wee square but it was too sweet even for me. I remember eating loads of it when I was wee.
Nothing planned this weekend but if the weather smartens itself up then I'm off to the hills.

I've taken up training again in a more serious fashion than the last few months. I've lost weight but I've lost inches on the waist too. Just back from a 3m run and feeling really hyped. I also bought some weights today to help on non-gym days.
Big boss got his position confirmed yesterday so it looks like the post I'm in will be advertised soon. I should have been going to Norway but that's off as I have to wait and see when the ad goes in the paper and the interview date.

Really relaxed now. I went for a long walk today (ca 4hrs) over the hills and had a couple of beers when I came home. Getting ready for "Planet Earth".

Had a bit of a wasted trip this weekend. Nathan's Irish passport is due up and he wants to go to Norway for Easter Hols. I can't go due to work commitments/possible interview date. Anyway the pics that I had signed were too small so I had new ones taken but will have to get both signed by the same witness up here. Once done I'll post them down to big brother and he said he would take them in to the post office in Glasgow. Otherwise it could take weeks and I need to book the flights sooner rather than later.
Doing the domestic bit today and catching up with the washing before I go off on a long haul jaunt over the hills.
Scotland are doing really well in the commonwealth games if anyone else is watching.

The trip to Islay is cancelled due to extremely lumpy seas. We have no snow here but it is very stormy. I had to get up at 5.30 to get to the ferry terminal in time for the 7am ferry. I'm now back at home and wide awake. I'll leave for the office in about an hour.
Pay day tomorrow AT LAST!
