Fat Bloke has had enough. I've started running again (2nd day). I've never been this heavy before. The new gym opens in Campbeltown in 2 weeks so I'll join that as I can then go after work or swimming before work. I used to swim in the morning before going to Uni' I lost a lot of weight then and never felt so good. Big bro' did the Men's Health 10k on Sunday and did really well so I'm ready to sign up for next year and beat the old geezer ;-)

I had a bit of a strange day today. My colleague was supposed to come in to the office today to work with me on a new tender bid. She didn't turn in at all and there was no word as to where she was. I don't know enough about the bid to go it alone so I just covered those areas I know something about and that took a wee bit of time. I then had my final visit to the dentist and the bill Aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Poor old me this month too. Roisin and Veli were hyper this evening and gadding about all over the place. I went out this evening to help at the Healing garden at the local gp's surgery. I stayed for an hour as the midges were vicious and I fed about a million of the wee buggers.

I've been having a great time with my new GPS. I've even managed to create tracks and last night i was out on the mountain bike up in the hills. Amazing how much info there is on the wee machine when I get home. The only problem is keeping contact with the sats - especially when moving fast on a bike or walking over rough terrain. Rucksacks shouls have a wee pocket built into the shoulder strap with a clear top surface to allow the gps contact with the sats. Sounds sensible to me so it's probably already been done. I'm looking forward to the weekend of sun that we're promised.
