Had a very strange day at work today. Lots and lots of chinese whispers going around. Nothing particulaily bothersome just a strange mood among all staff. More to follow. Off to The Brack tomorrow with WP. Weather seems to be very promising.

I'm going to take Shona out to dinner tonight. More for me than her i think. Still very low - I even bought a bottle of whisky today. I know Iknow really the wrong thing to do but I did it. Very confused about a lot of issues. Need my wee wife here to talk to. She always sorts me out.
As an aside i'm now a qualified first aider I passed the test today.

What a day I've had. I can't remember the last time i was so down. No real reason for it but lots of small things. Had a good chat to b tonight so that helped. Went for a walk along the sea front for some air then watched Crufts. Hopefully tomorrow brings better things. I've a long day with my final meeting at 7.30. Then a possibly contentious management meeting on Tuesday. Just have to keep moving forward.
Veli has got chickenpox on his chickenpox. He has spots absolutely everywhere. Roisin had it first but she got off light compared to him. He and I had a good day together on saturday. Roisin asked if I was taking Veli to the pub and I said yes. She put up a bit of a fight when she was to go with Mum and Dad as she wanted to go to the pub too! We actually didn't go to the pub we only went to play the lottery. I bought him a set of African animals at the newsagent and there was a picture of an elephant on the box but no elephant in the box. He got quite upset that the 'phant got lost. Never mind, he got a bear instead!!!!!

  Some of the photo's taken yesterday. I'm not actually asleep it's the severe wind chill that stopped me from opening my eyes. Top left is WP having a wee rest on his 3rd summit of the day. The snow was blowing all over the place and by god did it sting the face. WP and I felt sandblasted afterwards. Well worth it though - a day to remember.

Had a great day yesterday. WP and I went walking. We managed 1 Munro, 1 Corbett and 1 Corbett top. Pics to follow when he sends them to me. Deep snow and occasional blizzards but by god was I a happy man. WP even commented that I had a manic grin when we were on the way up summit nr. 2. A wee bit sore on the ankle that I broke but well worth it.
