I had started doing the Kintyre Way before i left to go to wolverhampton. I'm almost half way there. At Carradale so maybe after B goes if the weather picks up I'll take my bivvi bag and complete the whole thing one weekend.

Just back from a long weekend in Wolverhampton. A very nice time had by all. We had Veli with us and he had a ball. Shona fretted a bit and Veli wanted to come home on the Monday so we came home a day early. A very long drive though.
Helen moves into her new house today. Both she and Roisin are very excited about the whole thing. Roisin wants to move in with her. It will give Shona the space she needs and let her get back to normal.

Forgot to mention the weekend with Pierre and Euan. It went very well and we certainly had a laugh. Mostly at each other's expense. Felt good to be with old friends.

My poor wee legs are sore after Saturday's trip with WP. We did 2 Munros. Both over 1100m and by golly do I feel it today. Interesitngly we found some scraps of an aeroplane on the way down from Ben More and WP did some sniffing around today and found out it was parts of a Lancaster Bomber that crashed. Must've been years ago. The bits we found were made of Copper or Aluminium so they would have lasted well. Here are a couple of pics from the trip and a map with the elevation profile of the trip.
